Recap: Waldron Mohawks vs. Jac-Cen-Del Eagles
The Waldron Mohawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 63-42 loss at the hands of Jac-Cen-Del. Waldron has struggled against Jac-Cen-Del recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Waldron lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lucas Shaw, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Max Jones, who scored four points along with four steals.
Waldron's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Jac-Cen-Del, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waldron will challenge Hauser at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hauser presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Waldron in Indiana (Hauser is ranked 122nd, while Waldron is ranked 357th). Jac-Cen-Del's road trip will continue as they head out to face Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th.
