Baseball Recap: Academy of Careers & Exploration Takes a Loss

Academy of Careers & Exploration managed to slip by University Prep the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle came up short against the University Prep Jaguars on Thursday, falling 12-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Eagle were not able to get on the board.

Academy of Careers & Exploration dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for University Prep, their record now sits at 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy of Careers & Exploration will venture away from home to face off against Gabrielino at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University Prep, a feisty cat fight will be fought as University Prep Jaguars face off against Granite Hills Cougars at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
