Softball Recap: Parkside Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wicomico on Wednesday, Parkside came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Decatur Seahawks on Thursday, falling 9-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seahawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on April 1st.

Parkside has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Decatur, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Parkside will challenge rival Snow Hill on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Decatur is set to square off against their familiar foe Crisfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
