Argos took a 13-run  loss the last time they faced off against Caston, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Dragons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Comets on Saturday, sneaking past  6-5. Surprisingly, this marked the Dragons' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
 Ivy Stackhouse made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 17 batters over  eight innings while giving up  five earned runs off   seven  hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-5 with one  run and one  double. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Adelyn Lewark, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Ella Dean, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with one  run.
Argos' record now sits at 8-9. As for Caston, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matches. That lines up perfectly with their 5-15 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Argos will challenge Kouts at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Caston, they will be playing at home against Pioneer  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
