Greene County is a perfect 3-0 against Richton since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Greene County will challenge Richton at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Greene County has ten straight victories, Richton has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Greene County beats Richton with seven runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Greene County beat Bay on Saturday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-3.

Meanwhile, Richton scored first but ultimately less than Sacred Heart in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 16-5 to the Crusaders. Rebels fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Crusaders since on Saturday.

Richton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Cochran, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Greene County's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Richton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Everything went Greene County's way against Richton in their previous meeting back in February of 2019, as Greene County made off with a 16-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greene County since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
