Woodland had won four straight at home, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 10-6 to make it five. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Barnwell Warhorses. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 11-5 win on Friday.
Sara Grace Milligan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jordan Mccarthy, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Dallas LaChance was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
