Football Game Preview: Chatham Cougars vs. Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks + How To Watch

The Chatham Cougars will square off against the Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Chatham will bounce into Saturday's game after beating West Morris Mendham, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Cougars simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Minutemen 34-0. The game was the first time the Cougars have beaten the Minutemen on their field since September 17, 2021.

Meanwhile, Warren Hills Regional won against Randolph two weeks ago with 34 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Blue Streaks were the clear victors by a 34-14 margin over Parsippany Hills. Considering the Blue Streaks have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Warren Hills Regional's win came from a few key players Chatham will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cohl Stevens, who threw for 150 yards and three TDs on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 92 yards on only ten carries. He has become a key player for Warren Hills Regional: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Davey Rhinehart was Stevens' top target, picking up 22 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 58 yards and one touchdown.

Chatham's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Warren Hills Regional, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Chatham barely slipped by Warren Hills Regional in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 14-13. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Blue Streaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
