Baseball Recap: Millry Takes a Loss

The Millry Wildcats came up short against the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights on Saturday and fell 8-5.

Millry has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-6 record this season. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-16.

Looking ahead, Millry is taking a road trip to take on Hale County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Millry is facing Hale County at the right time seeing as Hale County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will challenge Bibb County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Choctaws' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
