The Mission Bay Buccaneers will be taking part in a tournament against the Central Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Mission Bay saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 6-2 to Sage Creek.

Evie Horton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI.

Meanwhile, Central also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Scripps Ranch by a score of 9-4. The Spartans have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mission Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mission Bay took their win against Central when the teams last played back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 11-4. Will Mission Bay repeat their success, or does Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
