Football Recap: Paxon School for Advanced Studies Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Paxon School For Advanced Studies had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the West Nassau Warriors on Friday, falling 54-14. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Skyler Freeman had a dynamite game For West Nassau., rushing for 103 yards and one TD on only 11 carries, while also picking up 69 receiving yards and one touchdown. Smo Green was another key back, rushing for 113 yards and one score on only 11 carries.

Looking ahead, Paxon School For Advanced Studies will square off against Wolfson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Nassau, they will face off against Frederica Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
