The Richmond Red Devils came up short against the South Dearborn Knights on Friday and fell 35-28. While the Red Devils had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Knights 14-0.

Richmond's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas Stargell, who threw for 176 yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground.
