Baseball Recap: Hoisington Comes Up Short

Hoisington lost against Pratt on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cardinals lost 11-2 to the Greenbacks. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaidenn Chambers was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Hoisington's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Pratt, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hoisington is set to square off against their familiar foe Hesston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pratt will take on rival Lyons on Tuesday.
