After flying high against Haines City on Thursday, Ridge Community came back down to earth. The Bolts took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Cloud Bulldogs on Monday. The Bolts' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Ridge Community started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-18.

Ridge Community's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for St. Cloud, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridge Community will head out to challenge George Jenkins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something the Bolts surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Cloud, they will face off against Bishop Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
