Recap: Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors vs. James Madison Preparatory School Patriots
In what's become a running theme this season, the Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on James Madison Preparatory School with a sharp 53-29 win. Winning may never get old, but Tri-City Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Tri-City Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Peyton Jacobsen, who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. Jacobsen is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Phillips, who scored six points along with 14 rebounds.
Tri-City Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for James Madison Preparatory School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Skyline - Gila River the next time they take the court. James Madison Preparatory School will head out to face Skyline - Gila River at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Tri-City Christian Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
