Basketball Game Preview: Palestine Wildcats vs. Bullard Panthers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Palestine Wildcats face off against the Bullard Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday... Palestine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Palestine came up short against Hudson and fell 39-32. The Wildcats have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Bj Walker, who posted ten points. London Brown was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Bullard entered their tilt with Center on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Roughriders by a score of 68-57. The score was all tied up 34-34 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Palestine now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Bullard, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Palestine came up short against Bullard when the teams last played on January 14th, falling 65-55. Can Palestine avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
