Volleyball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils.

Appleton West's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kenosha Bradford, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Appleton West will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kaukauna at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Kenosha Bradford, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Mayville on the 30th.
