Volleyball Recap: Heartland Christian Comes Up Short

Heartland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Parkview Christian Patriots. Heartland Christian was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Parkview Christian earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

While Heartland Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Parkview Christian work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 27-25.

Heartland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Parkview Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-16.

Coincidentally, Heartland Christian and Parkview Christian will both be playing Brownell Talbot the next time they take the court. Parkview Christian will head out to face Brownell Talbot at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Heartland Christian will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
