Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Springs Valley walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 46-0 win over the Forest Park Rangers. The victory was just business as usual for the Blackhawks, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.

Augie Purkhiser produced another solid effort rushing for 112 yards and three TDs on only nine carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Graham Nottger was another key player, rushing for 40 yards and one touchdown.

Springs Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Landon Weeks led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Springs Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Forest Park, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coming up, Springs Valley will take on Providence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Forest Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
