Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Bernard Vikings a 5-0 shutout. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

With the victory, Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5-1. As for St. Bernard, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
