Softball Preview: West Jordan Jaguars vs. Hunter Wolverines
The West Jordan Jaguars will head out on the road to take on the Hunter Wolverines at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Jordan is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
West Jordan will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Cyprus, who they hadn't topped in eight consecutive meetings. West Jordan came out on top against Cyprus by a score of 6-2 on Tuesday.
Rita Tavita made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Tavita has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Tavita was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
