Basketball Recap: Aric Musterman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lifestyle Christian over the Covenant Preparatory School

Lifestyle Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 58-47 to The Covenant Preparatory School Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-36 back in December of 2024.

Lifestyle Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aric Musterman, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. What's more, he also racked up three blocks, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Prestyn Neyland, who went 6 of 12 en route to 17 points.

Lifestyle Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for The Covenant Preparatory School, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Lifestyle Christian has already played their next contest, a 57-30 loss against Founders Christian on the 4th. As for The Covenant Preparatory School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-33 win against Second Baptist University-Model on the 4th.
