Softball Preview: Clint Lions vs. Fabens Wildcats

The Clint Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fabens Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Clint is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

In what's become a running theme this season, Clint gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Mountain View a 19-0 shutout. The win was just what Clint needed coming off of a 10-0 loss in their prior match.

Nichole Flores made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Flores has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Clint's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15. As for Fabens, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
