It was a good run, but Bristol unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell to the East Canton Hornets 43-37.

Bristol lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sammy Mansfield, who posted eight points and six steals. Mansfield is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lauren Church, who had eight points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Bristol's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for East Canton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Bristol will be playing in front of their home fans against Harding at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Bristol is facing Harding at the right time seeing as Harding is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Canton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 46-45 win against Malvern on the 18th.
