Volleyball Game Preview: Burlington Seahorses vs. St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers

Burlington is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and St. Johnsbury Academy a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Burlington Seahorses will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers at 7:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Burlington is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Essex, who was ranked first at the time (Burlington was ranked 14th). The Seahorses came up short against the Hornets on Monday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, St. Johnsbury Academy lost 3-0 to Champlain Valley Union on Monday.

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for St. Johnsbury Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
