            Volleyball Recap: Geneva Vikings vs. Waubonsie Valley Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Geneva, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Waubonsie Valley Warriors  2-1 on Wednesday. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 If you add up the scores from across all three sets (72-71) Geneva actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23,  26-24.

Geneva's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Waubonsie Valley,  with the  defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geneva will challenge Naperville North at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Waubonsie Valley, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Batavia at 5:30  p.m.  on  the 18th.
