Soccer Game Preview: Woodbridge vs. Laguna Beach

The Woodbridge Warriors will take on the Laguna Beach Breakers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Woodbridge will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Portola on Friday. Woodbridge was the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Portola. It was an even better day for Nikhil Strasma as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Laguna Beach kept a clean sheet against Northwood on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Timberwolves out 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Breakers.

Laguna Beach has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-3 record this season. As for Woodbridge, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9-5.
