Basketball Recap: Seaside Spartans vs. Stevenson Pirates
Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 68-32 defeat at the hands of the Stevenson Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-46 back in January.
It was another big night for Cooper Olin, who went 8 of 15 en route to 18 points and five boards for Stevenson. The contest was Olin's third in a row with at least 18 points. Kekoa Williams was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.
Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Stevenson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.
Seaside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-48 defeat against Watsonville on the 6th. As for Stevenson, they have also already played their next match, a 64-57 loss against Rancho San Juan on the 6th.
