Basketball Game Preview: Lexington Christian Eagles vs. Franklin County Flyers

The Lexington Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Franklin County Flyers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Lexington Christian is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Lafayette just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 49-33 fall against the Generals.

Meanwhile, everything went Franklin County's way against Great Crossing on Friday as Franklin County made off with a 60-34 win. The Flyers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Franklin County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points over those games. Lexington Christian's loss dropped their record down to 23-7.
