Wellington is 8-2 against Winfield since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Wellington Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Winfield Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Wellington will be strutting in after a win while Winfield will be coming in after a defeat.

Wellington didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Winfield in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 65-59 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Winfield's Christian Moree, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 26 points and three blocks.
