Everything went their way against the Parkview Patriots on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Hayden Teague looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits.
At the plate, Vilonia got a massive performance out of Trent Perry, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Lawrence Sherman, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
Vilonia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Vilonia's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Parkview, their loss was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.
