Basketball Recap: Big Horn Beats Sundance for Their Second Straight Win

Sundance came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Big Horn, but Emme Grace Mullinax wouldn't allow it. The Big Horn Rams managed a 49-45 win over the Sundance Bulldogs on Saturday thanks in part to Grace Mullinax, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Ava Taylor, who posted nine points and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Jaylin Mills and Hailey Karol certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Mills dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards, while Karol earned 12 points and five rebounds. That was a full 53.3% of Sundance's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

The victory made it two in a row for Big Horn and bumps their season record up to 7-7. As for Sundance, their record now sits at 10-6.

Big Horn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-43 win against Wright on the 31st. As for Sundance, they and Moorcroft will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 4:00 p.m. on February 7th.
