Recap: Lake Fenton Blue Devils vs. Hamady Hawks
The Lake Fenton Blue Devils lost to the Hamady Hawks back in January of 2019, but the Lake Fenton Blue Devils didn't allow the Hamady Hawks the same satisfaction on Saturday. Lake Fenton walked away with a 53-46 victory over Hamady. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lake Fenton.
Lake Fenton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Savannah "sj" fellenbaum, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. The match was "sj" fellenbaum's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Parker Beardsley, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Lake Fenton's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Hamady, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Fenton will take on Clio at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th. As for Hamady, they will be playing at home against Nouvel Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Nouvel Catholic Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
