Basketball Recap: Lee Academy Takes a Loss

Lee Academy lost against Calhoun Academy back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lee Academy Cavaliers fell 52-42 to the Calhoun Academy Cavaliers.

Lee Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Calhoun Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Lee Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marlboro Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Lee Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Calhoun Academy and Jefferson Davis Academy will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th. Jefferson Davis Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.
