On Thursday, Immanuel came up short against Sierra Pacific and fell 7-2.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Kerman and Central Valley Christian have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cavaliers, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won three in a row.

Giovanni Gastelum made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk). Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Daniel Lanfranco was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
