Volleyball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pierre T.F. Riggs on Tuesday, Huron came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Stevens Raiders on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Raiders since October 18, 2019.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.

Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Stevens, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Huron is set to challenge their familiar foe Rapid City Central at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Stevens will square off against rival Mitchell at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
