Woods Cross hasn't had much luck against Bountiful recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Wildcats will host the RedHawks  at 3:30  p.m. Woods Cross is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3  runs per game  this season.
Woods Cross will roll into the  contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  runs  on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Summit Academy  on Friday. The Wildcats blew past the Bears 17-2. Considering the Wildcats have won five matchups by more than five  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Savannah Juggert made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Juggert was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Audrey Ayala was a standout: she got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Bree Benson, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Woods Cross was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .517. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile,  Bountiful unfortunately witnessed the end of their  14-game winning streak on Monday. They fell  4-1 to Box Elder.
  Claire Yates was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with one  home run. That  home run marked the first that  she has  launched this season.
 Woods Cross' win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-9. As for Bountiful, their  defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 15-2.
Tuesday's   game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Woods Cross hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .323. However, it's not like Bountiful struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .378. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
