Fremont had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-37 win over the Newaygo Lions. The Packers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Fremont's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2. As for Newaygo, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5.

Looking ahead, Fremont will be taking part in a tournament against Big Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Rapids will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Fremont surely won't give up without a fight. Newaygo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
