Baseball Recap: Calabasas Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westlake last Friday, Calabasas came back down to earth. The Coyotes fell just short of the Newbury Park Panthers by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Coyotes have suffered since March 14, 2024.

Calabasas dropped their record down to 10-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Newbury Park, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

While Calabasas had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
