Baseball Game Preview: Kenosha Bradford Devils vs. St. Catherine's Angels

The Kenosha Bradford Devils will square off against the St. Catherine's Angels at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kenosha Bradford and Wilmot meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Devils came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-1. The Devils haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, St. Catherine's lost 35-1 to St. Joseph on Thursday.

St. Catherine's saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Avila, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Avila has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Kenosha Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for St. Catherine's, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Kenosha Bradford's way against St. Catherine's when the teams last played back in May of 2018, as Kenosha Bradford made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Angels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
