Freeport's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Highlands, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Freeport will venture away from home to take on Deer Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Deer Lakes will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last. As for Highlands, they will head out to square off against Burrell at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
