Basketball Recap: Lindblom Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Lindblom Eagles came up short against the Metea Valley Mustangs and fell 59-49. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lindblom's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Metea Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindblom will face off against Perspectives Leadership/Technology at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Perspectives Leadership/Technology knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Lindblom likes a good challenge. As for Metea Valley, they will challenge DeKalb at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
