Creekside Christian Academy posted their biggest win since December 4, 2023 on Thursday. They put the hurt on Calvary Christian with a sharp 75-53 victory. 75 seems to be a good number for Creekside Christian Academy as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Creekside Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Laila Placide, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds, and Skye Hunter, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Placide has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last five times she's played. Kyra Ware was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Central Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They strolled past Community Christian with points to spare, taking the game 68-53. The win was just what Central Christian needed coming off of a 49-29 loss in their prior contest.
Creekside Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Central Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Everything came up roses for Creekside Christian Academy against Central Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 65-26 victory.
