The biggest upset of the week belonged to Central, who took down 109th ranked Central, 17-14.
Arkansas City was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II. The Bulldogs beat Valley Center 17-0 earlier in the week.
Blake Meier put up the best numbers through the air as the Jaguars lost to Andover. He finished with a total of 10 completions for 132 yards and one touchdown. Meier's favorite target this week was Kolten Holinde, who caught four passes for 62 yards.
Dylan Thompson was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 60 yards on 20 carries as Eisenhower fell to Newton. Drake Damon also contributed to the rushing game with 34 yards on the ground.
Stemple was the best wideout in the league this week as the Tigers fell to the Railroaders. Stemple tallied one reception for 67 yards.
6-foot-4 quarterback Collin Nevil of Goddard is the league leader in passing yards this season with 689. He has also thrown four touchdowns. On the ground, Central's Lucas Milner has rushed for 355 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Holinde. The Central star has 17 catches for 336 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Trojans take on the Lions. Andover is in second place, while Goddard is in fourth place.
Maize South extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Scott Vang's team, 42-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Mavericks.
