Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Batavia's 12th in Last 15 Outings

On Tuesday, the Batavia Blue Devils didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the School of the Arts Silverhawks, but they still walked away with a 51-45 win. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Silverhawks are ranked 570th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Batavia is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for School of the Arts and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

As of now, neither Batavia nor School of the Arts have any future games scheduled.
