Basketball Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

Ringgold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the North Cobb Christian Eagles, falling 73-51. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Eagles are ranked 32nd).

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for North Cobb Christian, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ringgold Tigers duke it out with the Union County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Cobb Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sonoraville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North Cobb Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups.
