After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Curwensville, Redbank Valley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals 3-2. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 5-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Mackenzie Foringer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.

At the plate, Redbank Valley's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Keyauna Schimp, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Schimp has posted since back in April of 2024.
