Soccer Recap: Lafayette Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Lafayette Central Catholic managed to slip by Tipton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Blue Devils on Saturday, falling 5-0. Lafayette Central Catholic were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Tipton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Lafayette Central Catholic and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Tipton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-1-2 record this season.

Lafayette Central Catholic will square off against McCutcheon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tipton will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' matchup: after the Knights face off against the Mavericks, they'll take on Tipton again at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
