Soccer Game Preview: Lejeune vs. Wake Prep Academy

The Lejeune Devil Pups will take on the Wake Prep Academy Guardians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lejeune comes in on 13 and Wake Prep Academy on five.

Lejeune is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Woods Charter by a score of 3-1. Three seems to be a good number for Lejeune as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit Woods Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Scarlett McLean, Jazzalynn Miller, and Jaycie Canaienne.

Meanwhile, Wake Prep Academy kept a clean sheet against Eno River Academy on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. Wake Prep Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

Lejeune's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-0-1. As for Wake Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7-1.
