Softball Recap: Annapolis Comes Up Short

Annapolis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-1 to the Broadneck Bruins, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-1 loss on Tuesday.

Annapolis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Broadneck, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4.

Coming up, Annapolis will welcome Glen Burnie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Broadneck, they will head out to take on Meade at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.11 runs per game on average), something the Bruins will no doubt try to take advantage of.
