Basketball Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss

Taylor suffered their biggest defeat since December 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 55-28 loss at the hands of the Salado Eagles. The Ducks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 47-40.

When it comes to explaining why Taylor lost, don't look at Sophia Fisher. Despite the final result, she posted 12 points and four steals. Fisher is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played.

Taylor has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-19 record this season. As for Salado, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-14.

Taylor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salado, they will square off against Lorena at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Salado has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three matches.
